Like most of us, I’m amazed and (for NOW) a bit disoriented by the carnival madness of our contemporary external world. As the saying goes, I can’t live with it and I can’t live without it. It’s both deeply repugnant and strangely fascinating. Nevertheless, life has taught me to be reasonably compartmentalized and disciplined. As such, I’ve (so far) done pretty well to balance a healthy ‘need to know’ against a compulsive need to absorb everything, over and over and all the time. One needs to be able to carry conflicting thoughts in the same head. Madness awaits otherwise. 🤔
That being the case, I’ve opted today for the peaceful road. Rest assured, the bible tells us there will be a time and a place for all things. As those who know me best and longest certainly would tell you, I’m still entirely capable of a certain amount of inflammatory belligerent behavior (it’s a longstanding family trait 😉). I even sometimes enjoy it (I’m an American after all).
But not now. That’s for the other road, and I haven’t decided just yet to take it. For today, I want to display my so-called PHOTOGRAPHICS projects. These are photoshopping exercises that I’ve combined with my own photographs to produce simple ‘message’ displays for IG, Facebook, etc. There are many of these sites available online. Most have both free and more elaborate paid functions. I use mostly Adobe Express. Canva, Pixar, Be Funky are a few others I’ve used successfully. They are similar, but have slightly different attributes.
Here goes, with a brief caption for each. I hope you like them:
